AAJA mayoral candidates forum coming up!
Save the date! On Monday, May 5, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., AAJA-Portland will sponsor a “candidates’ conversation” with the leading candidates for Portland mayor: Commissioner Sam Adams and Azumano Travel owner Sho Dozono. The format will be Q-and-A with light refreshments. This is a great opportunity to get the candidates’ views on diversity issues, so come and bring your friends.
Admission is free but seats are limited, so tickets are required. To get tickets, e-mail aajaportland@gmail.com with the number of tickets you need and where to send them.
The forum will be at the Multnomah Arts Center, 7688 SW Capitol Highway.
Who wants to know how to do a little radio piece?
